The Tango Lily Strawberry & Cream, 'Lilium Tango', exhibits
creamy pink petals with dark strawberry markings that makes this
lily so pretty you'll be tempted to have it with a slice of pound
cake. The Tango Lilies are a hybrid of the popular Asiatic Lily. The
flowers are enormous and beautifully colored with uniquely speckled
formations. In 1989, Piet Schenk, a Dutch Lily Hybridizer, bought
pollen from Mr. Orekhof of Latvia, who introduced the first 'Tango
Lily'. In honor of Mr. Orekhof, all new Lilies in this series get
the name Tango. The Lily is a symbol of majesty and nothing is quite
as spectacular as a mass of colorful lilies in full bloom.

in pink, white, yellow red, and orange. The open faced flowers are

petals and sepals. The narrow leaves are about two inches long.
Stems may be up to two feet tall from white underground bulbs.

common name would be toad orchids because their small flowers

interesting coloration of pea-green petals and a mahogany- red
throat; comes from deep within the Himalayas and its surrounding
regions. When established, it can have up to 6 blooms per 48 inch
stem. Perfect for any arrangement, this lovely flower lasts for days
after being cut. Full to part shade and moist, well-drained soil
will keep this lily happy from May to July. Great for naturalizing.

Flore Pleno', is a fragrant white Lily-of-the-Valley that is unusual
because its bell-shaped flowers are actually double! Each arching
stem is actually weighed down by the profuse blooms it carries.
Plant them in a garden with good air circulation to prevent fungal
spots on the petals. This rhizomatous perennial thrives in moist,
humus-rich, fertile soil, in sun or full shade. Plantings should be
